Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technologist for an Operating Room assignment in Columbus, Ohio.

This role supports a high-volume Level I Trauma OR within a large academic medical center, providing exposure to complex and diverse surgical cases.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This opportunity is ideal for experienced surgical technologists who are confident in high-acuity environments and have strong experience across trauma, neuro, orthopedic, and general surgery cases.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Variable (day and evening coverage)
• Mix of 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts
• Shift range: 0630–2330
• Call required
• Weekend coverage as needed
• Teaching hospital environment

COMPENSATION
• Weekly Gross: $2,457
• Pay package includes taxable hourly wages and tax-free stipends when applicable
• Locals accepted at same rate

SURGICAL CASE EXPOSURE
• Neurosurgery and spine
• Complex orthopedic and ortho spine
• General and bariatric surgery
• Trauma and emergency cases
• Robotics, transplant, burns, ENT, and GU procedures

UNIT HIGHLIGHTS
• Level I Trauma Center
• High-acuity surgical environment
• Broad case mix and technical exposure
• Academic teaching hospital setting

• Minimum 3 years Surgical Technologist experience REQUIRED
• Minimum 2 years Level I or II Trauma OR experience REQUIRED
• Neurosurgery and spine experience REQUIRED
• Complex orthopedic and general surgery experience REQUIRED (including bariatric)
• Teaching hospital experience REQUIRED
• BLS REQUIRED
• Ability to work variable shifts and take call REQUIRED

• Epic experience preferred
• Travel experience preferred
