With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome new Facilities Maintenance Technicians to join our dynamic East Boston Team!


Job Summary
Facilities Maintenance Technicians are responsible for performing routine and emergency repairs, conducting inspections, and managing maintenance-related tasks, which includes the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair various equipment. The ideal candidate will be well verse in general commercial maintenance upkeep, which includes the ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and repair various equipment and fixtures.


Compensation: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour (Based on Experienced), medical, vision, dental, life insurance, 401k


Available Shifts: 10:00am – 6:30pm. Days off to be Determined.


Responsibilities

  • Perform routine repairs on HVAC and other mechanical equipment 
  • Assist with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks as assigned 
  • Complete drywall repair, framing, painting, carpentry, and general maintenance work 
  • Inspect facility systems, identify issues, and make necessary repairs 
  • Assist with snow removal during winter months.
  • Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules
  • Work with team members to support equipment performance and customer service goals 
  • Follow safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment 
  • Participation in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge base
Requirements
  • At least 2-years of commercial facility maintenance experience
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems and their components strongly preferred
  • Experience with general maintenance, including light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, framing, drywall repair, and painting 
  • Familiar with CMMS software preferred
  • Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
  • Strong customer service and communication skills 
  • Valid US driver's License with at least 3 years of experience- approvals and final decision is subject to our automobile insurance carrier's criteria
