Talent Acquisition Specialist

 Summary 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for attracting, recruiting, and hiring top talent across engineering, technical, manufacturing, and corporate functions. Partnering closely with HR Generalist and hiring managers, this role ensures targeted recruiting strategies and a high-quality candidate experience, aligned with Hyper’s growth objectives.

Core Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for engineering, manufacturing, operations, and corporate roles.
  • Partner with HR Generalists and the Director of HR on role requirements and workforce planning.
  • Develop sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and industry pipelines.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews, coordinating with hiring teams for feedback and next steps.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience through all stages of the recruitment process.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and assist with career fairs, recruiting events, and internship programs.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop recruiting content and outreach strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain accurate ATS records.
  • Track recruiting metrics and support continuous process improvement.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Assist with onboarding processes in partnership with HR colleagues.
  • Support multi-state compliance requirements as needed in recruiting practices.
  • Contribute to internal HR projects and initiatives related to talent acquisition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–6 years of full-cycle recruiting experience in engineering, technology, or manufacturing spaces.
  • Strong sourcing skills, including experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and proactive talent pipelines.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting metrics tracking.
  • Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience specifically recruiting for engineering or manufacturing roles.
  • Exposure to multi-state compliance in recruiting practices.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification.

Requirements

  • Must have ability to work from our local office Monday through Friday normal workday hours.
