Talent Acquisition Specialist - Engineering & Technology Focus
Description

 Summary 

The Talent Acquisition Specialist with an Engineering and Technology focus is responsible for attracting, recruiting, and hiring top talent across technical, engineering, manufacturing, and corporate functions. This role partners closely with the HR Generalists and hiring managers to understand workforce needs, develop targeted recruiting strategies, and deliver a high-quality candidate experience aligned with the company’s culture and growth objectives.
 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


Recruiting & Talent Strategy

· Manage full-cycle recruitment for engineering, manufacturing, operations, and corporate roles

· Partner with HR Generalist and Director of HR, on role requirements and workforce planning

· Develop sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and industry pipelines

· Build proactive talent pipelines for hard-to-fill roles


Candidate Experience & Selection

· Screen resumes and conduct interviews

· Coordinate interviews and feedback

· Ensure a positive candidate experience


Employer Branding & Outreach

· Support employer branding initiatives

· Participate in career fairs, recruiting events, and internship programs.

· Partner with leadership on recruiting content


Compliance & Process Improvement

· Ensure compliance with employment laws

· Maintain ATS records

Track recruiting metrics and improve processes

Requirements

 Required:


· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

· 3–6 years of recruiting experience in the engineering, technology or manufacturing space.

· Full-cycle recruiting experience

· Strong sourcing and interviewing skills

   Must be local and able to work from the RIchmond office

· ATS and LinkedIn Recruiter proficiency



Preferred:

· Experience recruiting technical or manufacturing roles

· Multi-state compliance exposure

· SHRM-CP or PHR certification


Requirements

· Must have ability to work from our local office Monday through Friday normal workday hours.


Computer Skills 

ATS experience, Payroll platform experience, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
