Summary

Reporting to the VP of Growth, the Manager, AI Operations will elevate how our teams work by embedding AI into everyday processes. In this role, you’ll be the company’s internal AI expert - leading enablement, building smart workflows, and partnering closely with teams to identify high-value use cases. You’ll develop playbooks, run trainings and challenges, and help shape our broader AI strategy. This position is perfect for someone who loves experimenting, translating ideas into practical solutions, and driving meaningful change across a fast-moving organization.


Key Responsibilities


AI Enablement & Best Practices (30%)

  • Serve as the company’s go-to expert on AI tools and capabilities.
  • Lead internal workshops and training sessions to increase confidence in daily AI usage.
  • Manage AI contests and demo sessions that promote creativity and adoption.
  • Create and maintain internal AI playbooks and best-practice resources.


AI Workflow Design & Cross-Functional Solutions (50%)

  • Build AI-embedded automations and internal workflows that help teams work smarter.
  • Partner with revenue, ecommerce, expert success, finance, and marketing teams to identify high-impact opportunities for AI leverage.
  • Embed with teams to understand goals and pain points, translating them into practical, testable AI use cases.
  • Evaluate current processes and recommend AI-driven solutions that increase speed, quality, and consistency. Assess each idea for impact, effort, scalability, and cross-team implications to ensure workflow improvements strengthen the broader system.
  • Support testing, feedback collection, iteration, and scaling of AI-assisted workflows across the business.
  • Work with leadership to define the AI capabilities needed to stay ahead as a company.


Program Ownership & Internal Evangelism (20%)

  • Track adoption and usage metrics to understand progress and identify coaching needs.
  • Evaluate and recommend AI tools, plugins, and automation platforms, partnering with IT to assess ROI and ensure technical fit.
  • Act as a partner to IT/Security team in maintaining guidelines for safe, ethical, and responsible AI usage across the company.
  • Share updates, wins, and emerging trends to keep the company informed and inspired.
  • Champion a culture of experimentation, innovation, and responsible AI usage.
  • Maintain oversight of internal AI workflows and automations to ensure reliability, governance, and continuity even as teams self-serve and build their own solutions.


Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years in operations, analytics, product, strategy or a related role within a tech company.
  • Experience building automations or AI-assisted workflows, with a hands-on, experimental mindset; deep technical expertise isn’t required, but strong problem-solving and the ability to turn business needs into practical AI solutions are.
  • Strong understanding of modern AI tools (LLMs, automation platforms, prompt design, workflow builders).
  • Excellent communication skills; able to teach, translate complexity, and inspire teams.
  • Natural curiosity with a bias toward experimentation and continuous improvement.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills with the ability to drive adoption and change.
  • Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • A passion for helping people work smarter and elevating overall organizational performance.

The approximate compensation range for this role is a base salary of $95,000-$105,000 (annually). Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications and geographic location.

Salary Description
$95,000-$105,000 per year
