Position Summary:
This role is responsible for but not limited to the planning and scheduling of standard and special piano production through the factory, conducting analyses to inform key stakeholders and optimize production deliveries.
Main Responsibilities:
· Maintain and update production schedules throughout factory, with emphasis on end of line scheduling.
· Provide meaningful analysis via dashboards and reports to production team to aid in successfully meeting scheduling goals.
· Coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure an accurate and attainable production schedule.
· Coordinate special pianos’ flow and lead times through factory while monitoring bottlenecks.
· Work with factory supervisors to keep production flowing and troubleshooting problems in the factory.
· Interface with current Manufacturing system (MRP) by updating production information and scheduling.
· Monitor inventory by SKU, performing analysis to guide production decisions and prevent overproduction or shortages.
· Due to changing requirements, the duties and responsibilities of the position may change over time.
Qualifications, education and experience:
· College degree; in applicable field a plus.
· 2+ years of scheduling experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
· Strong organizational skills.
· Strong written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs, countifs, filtering)
· Ability to manipulate data in Excel and create useful reports.
· Working knowledge of an industry standard MRP/ERP systems.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
The estimated annualized base salary range for this role is $65,000-$70,000. Compensation will vary based on skills and experience.
