What You’ll Do
As a Construction Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting project execution by managing administrative, procurement, and coordination functions, including:
- Supporting procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
- Preparing and managing purchase orders and subcontract documentation
- Assisting with contract administration, change orders, and compliance tracking
- Assisting with managing and tracking submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation
- Coordinating permitting, inspections, and approvals with local authorities
- Communicating with suppliers, subcontractors, inspectors, and internal teams
- Maintaining accurate project records and document control systems
- Assisting with project closeout documentation and turnover
You will support multiple projects simultaneously and work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment.

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of experience in construction administration, project coordination, or similar role (commercial construction preferred)
- Working knowledge of construction documents, contracts, and terminology
- Experience supporting procurement, submittals, and contract documentation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Experience working for a commercial general contractor
- Familiarity with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, PlanGrid, or Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Experience coordinating permits and inspections
- Interest in building a career in commercial construction
