Job Summary:
As a Software Development Engineer II, you will take ownership of medium to large features, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior developers. You are expected to deliver scalable and reliable software solutions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Design and implement complex software components.
- Lead feature development from design to deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements.
- Improve system performance and reliability.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct code reviews.
Required Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Education & Experience:
- 2–5 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in technologies (C#, Typescript, React or another SPA framework, SQL).
- Understanding of object-oriented design.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience with distributed systems and cloud technologies.
- Solid understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Additional Details:
- Our organization supports a flexible work environment that balances collaboration, productivity, and business needs. Following a probationary period, this role offers a hybrid schedule 3 days in-office, 2 days remote. Please note this is based on employee performance and is subject to change.
