Job Title: Residential Porter /Cleaner

We are seeking a diligent and dedicated Residential Porter to join our team. The Residential Porter will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of residential buildings or complexes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. High-end white gloves residential building.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform daily cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting common areas, including hallways, lobbies, and elevators.

2. Ensure proper trash removal and disposal from designated areas.

3. Keep outdoor spaces such as sidewalks, parking lots, and courtyards clean and debris-free.

4. Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and functionality of common amenities such as gyms, laundry rooms, and recreational areas.

5. Conduct regular inspections of the premises to identify and address maintenance issues, safety hazards, or cleanliness concerns.

6. Assist residents with moving furniture, packages, or other heavy items as needed.

7. Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution.

8. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and report when supplies need to be replenished.

9. Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.

10. Provide exceptional customer service to residents by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

11. Collaborate with property management and maintenance staff to ensure the overall well-being and satisfaction of residents.

12. Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a secure environment for residents and staff.

13. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance work preferred.

- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks.

- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform repetitive tasks.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.

- Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
