Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers, answering a high volume of incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner.
- Greet and assist walk-in customers, addressing inquiries and processing payments.
- Process customer orders, schedule deliveries, and coordinate service requests.
- Provide product and service information while troubleshooting customer concerns.
- Maintain accurate customer records and update account information as needed.
- Communicate with drivers and service technicians, creating work orders to ensure timely service and deliveries.
- Handle billing inquiries, process payments, and assist with account management.
- Perform general receptionist duties, such as managing mail, filing documents, and assisting with office administrative tasks.
- Support other departments as needed to ensure seamless customer service.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous customer service or receptionist experience, preferably in the propane, contracting, fuel, or energy industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle a high volume of calls while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Comfortable working in an office environment
