Description

MISSION

To handle credit applications and inquiries and provide support to A/R manager and store managers in their attempts to secure terms and payments from customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Input new credit application when approved
  • Respond to credit inquiries from other vendors
  • Perform payment application issues
  • Provide assistance to corporate staff members as needed
  • Post Lock Box
  • Post credit card payments
  • Maintain Sales Tax exemption forms for customers
  • Provide W-9 forms to customers upon request.
  • Regular attendance in accordance with assigned schedule
  • Ability to perform physical requirements as listed in job description
  • Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management

  • Negotiation — Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences.
  • Mathematics — Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, statistics, and their applications.
  • Clerical — Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Customer Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service. This position services Purcell store and center managers and other departments.
  • Deal with Unpleasant People – during the course of collections, must be able to remain even-tempered and goal-driven.

  • Computers and Programs — Knowledge and proficient use of computer hardware and software (AS400, Microsoft Excel, Word & PowerPoint, Accounting software)
  • Typing – Ability to type at 55 wpm
  • Calculator – Efficient skill with a calculator
  • Phone Systems – Ability to operate phone systems for the effective communication of information to interested parties
