Position Overview
The IT Manager is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the Information Technology function across Lupoli Companies’ diverse business units. This role focuses on operational execution, service delivery, and people management to ensure stable, secure, and responsive IT services.
Reporting directly to the Director of IT, the IT Manager manages four direct reports and serves as the operational backbone of the department. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on execution and accountability, not an executive or strategic authority position.
Key Responsibilities
IT Operations
- Oversee daily IT operations across corporate offices, restaurants, hotels, manufacturing facilities, and development properties
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and outages
- Maintain system uptime, performance, and reliability across infrastructure and applications
- Act as the primary escalation point for operational issues
People Leadership
- Directly manage four IT team members
- Prioritize workload, assign tasks, and enforce service-level expectations
- Coach, mentor, and hold team members accountable for execution
- Identify skills gaps and recommend training or process improvements
Vendor & Systems Management
- Coordinate with third-party vendors, MSPs, and service providers
- Track licenses, renewals, and support agreements
- Ensure vendors meet operational and service expectations
Process & Documentation
- Establish and maintain IT operational processes and standards
- Reduce reliance on tribal knowledge through documentation
- Improve consistency and repeatability of IT service delivery
Operational Coverage
- Provide day-to-day operational coverage in the Director of IT’s absence
- Escalate strategic, budgetary, or enterprise-level decisions as appropriate
- Communicate clearly with business stakeholders regarding IT operations
Required
- 5–8 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure, or systems administration
- 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience
- Experience supporting multi-site or operationally intensive environments
- Strong understanding of networks, servers, endpoints, and enterprise applications
- Ability to remain calm and decisive during incidents or outages
