ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES

- Meet management service standards and expectations.

- Promote credit union products and services.
- Respond Promptly and courteously to member inquiries.
- Keep work area clean and sensitive material properly secured.
- Complete assigned training in a timely manner as required for compliance with regulations.
- Lead, coach, and develop a multi-channel sales focused in-person, online, and outbound lending team.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide coaching and performance feedback, handle performance issues, and support staff development. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Identify training needs and ensure team members have the resources, support, and on-the-job training needed.
- Execute strategies to increase loan volume, cross-sell products, and deepen member relationships. Assist in identifying and vetting new vendor relationships to support lending growth strategies.
- Monitor and analyze sales lending performance metrics; adjust tactics to meet or exceed growth targets.
- Partner with marketing and member services to build effective campaigns, outbound initiatives, and targeted sales pipelines.
- Ensure lending policies, procedures, products, and documentation comply with regulatory requirements.
- Optimize workflows and leverage technology, CRM tools, and digital lending platforms to enhance efficiency and member experience.
- Maintain accurate reporting and provide regular updates to senior leadership.
- Champion a member-first approach by ensuring consistency and quality of the member experience across all lending and sales channels.
- Develop and maintain reporting tools for loan performance and departmental metrics. Prepare monthly loan reports and present findings for executive leadership.
- Resolve escalated member concerns promptly and professionally.
- Stay up to date on credit union policy and procedures. Adhere to regulations.

Education/Certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- Financial Counseling certification preferred.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of sales leadership or lending experience.
- Proven track record of driving loan growth and achieving sales targets.
- Strong knowledge of consumer lending products, underwriting, and compliance.
- Experience in a credit union or community banking environment preferred.
Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent professional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement effective strategies.
- Expertise with digital lending platforms, CRM systems, and outbound sales strategies.

PHYSICAL AND WORK REQUIREMENTS
This is an exempt, full-time salary position, working 40 hours per week on average. A typical schedule for the Sales & Lending Growth Manager is Monday-Friday. The Sales & Lending Growth Manager operates in a professional office environment regularly where travel to offsite meeting locations, conferences, and events may be required. This position requires approximately 7 plus hours of stationary daily computer and phone use and occasional lifting of items weighing up to 20 pounds including supplies, equipment, etc. Occasional bending, squatting, twisting, reaching above or below shoulder level, and kneeling is required.
