You’ll work closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams to develop robust, manufacturable, and regulatory-compliant products. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in electrical engineering, hands-on experience with PCB design and power systems, and a strong desire to take on increasing responsibility.
Responsibilities:
· Design analog and digital circuits, select components, and create schematics and PCB layouts for products from start to finish.
· Evaluate product end-of-life impacts and mitigations.
· Support prototype development, debugging, and validation testing.
· Collaborate with mechanical, firmware/software, product management, and production teams to ensure seamless system integration.
· Assist in preparing documentation and regulatory submittals for product certifications (e.g., UL, CSA).
· Contribute to product improvements and design revisions based on test data, field feedback, or regulatory updates.
· Support production as manufacturing issues arise.
· Troubleshoot issues reported from the field and support the customer relations team on technical inquiries.
· Participate in project planning, documentation, and product reviews.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
· 2–5 years of experience in an electrical design or development role.
· Experience with PCB CAD tools (e.g., Eagle, Altium Designer, KiCAD).
· Understanding of analog and digital circuits, power electronics, and embedded system interfaces.
· Familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscope, DMM, power analyzer) for testing and troubleshooting.
- Experience operating lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, debuggers etc
· Experience with communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, and Serial, Ethernet etc.
· Working knowledge of relevant safety and regulatory standards is a plus.
