Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in Santa Monica, California.

This role provides 1:1 patient care in a procedural environment, supporting interventional radiology cases from pre-procedure through recovery.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This opportunity is ideal for nurses with true IR or procedural experience who are comfortable with sedation, vascular access, and high-acuity procedural workflows.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• 13-week contract
• Day shift | 5x8s (08:00–16:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Weekday and weekend call required
• No floating

COMPENSATION
• Gross: $3,139 per week
• W2: $30 per hour
• Tax-Free Stipend: $1,939 per week

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care for IR patients
• Administer and monitor procedural sedation
• Assist with vascular access and interventional procedures
• Deliver 1:1 patient care throughout procedures
• Monitor patient response and escalate care as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and procedural teams
• Document care accurately in Epic EMR

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Acute care hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• High-acuity procedural environment
• Strong interdisciplinary collaboration

• Minimum 1 year Interventional Radiology RN experience REQUIRED (HARD STOP)
• Procedural sedation experience REQUIRED
• ACLS and BLS REQUIRED
• Active California RN license REQUIRED (must be in hand)
• Epic EMR experience REQUIRED
• Experience with vascular access REQUIRED
• Ability to provide 1:1 procedural care REQUIRED

Important Notes:
• ICU/PACU experience alone is NOT sufficient without IR experience
• Must be comfortable with call coverage (weekday + weekend)
• Every other weekend required
• All RTO must be submitted with application
