Heartline Staffing is seeking an experienced Outpatient Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week travel assignment at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, California. This is an outpatient-focused role within an acute care hospital setting, supporting a diverse patient population across pediatric, adult, and geriatric age groups.
Contract Details:
• Start Date: 02/09/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day Shift | 5x8s (08:30 AM – 05:30 PM)
• Weekend Requirement: One weekend day every other weekend (typically Sunday)
• Orientation: 40 hours (non-billable)
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period
• Locals Accepted: Yes (local radius rule applies – 50 miles, lower bill rate)
• First-Time Travelers: Not accepted
• Block Scheduling: Manager discretion
• RTO: Must be submitted with application
Compensation (PLACEHOLDERS):
Gross: $ 2206.00/week
W2: $24.00/hr
Tax-Free Stipend: $1246/week

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient OT experience (2 years preferred – see screener)
• BLS Certification (AHA)

• Ability to float within hospital or to affiliated facilities as needed
• Willingness to work 2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year

- ARRT (R) certification is required.

- Experience working in Adult Acute Care, Emergency Department, ICU, Operating Room, and Outpatient settings is required.
- Experience performing portable and mobile X-ray procedures is required.
- Experience with fluoroscopy studies is required, including Upper GI, Barium Swallow/Esophagus, Contrast Enema, ERCP, and Myelography.
- Experience performing trauma imaging is required.
- Experience imaging all age groups is required, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Ability to safely perform imaging of the spine, pelvis, upper extremities, lower extremities, chest, abdomen, head, and trauma cases is required.
- Knowledge of and adherence to radiation safety, infection prevention, and isolation precautions is required.
- Ability to prepare and/or administer contrast media as applicable is required.
- Weekend coverage every other weekend is required.
- Requested time off must be included at time of submission.
- Traveler must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year.
- Valid California license, certifications, and references must be provided prior to start.
- Candidates must meet local radius rules and may be accepted at a lower bill rate if local.
- Travelers may be required to float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities based on facility needs.
- Two supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years are required. Charge RNs or Leads are accepted.
