Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a Home Health assignment in Portland, Oregon.

This role focuses on delivering skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a home-based setting, supporting independence and continuity of care.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This opportunity is ideal for nurses who are confident working independently in the field, managing their own schedule, and providing comprehensive patient care across the full home health cycle.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Days, 5x8 (08:00–16:30)
• Patient Volume: Approximately 5–6 visits per day
• Productivity: 30 points standard
• Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
• No weekends
• No on-call
• No floating
• EMR: Epic Remote Client, Rover, OASIS

COMPENSATION
• Gross: $2,646 per week
• W2: $35.00 per hour
• Tax-Free Stipend: $1,246 per week

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Start of care (SOC) visits
• Routine home health visits
• Recertifications and resumption of care
• Discharge planning and patient education
• Medication administration and management
• Wound care and wound VAC management
• Infection control and safety compliance

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Independent field-based role
• Patients grouped geographically
• Up to ~60 miles daily travel radius
• Mileage reimbursed at IRS rate
• Strong documentation expectations

• Minimum 1 year skilled adult home health RN experience REQUIRED
• Active Oregon RN license REQUIRED
• BLS REQUIRED
• OASIS experience REQUIRED (must disclose if not present)
• Experience with start of care visits REQUIRED
• Experience with recertifications and routine visits REQUIRED
• Wound care and wound VAC experience REQUIRED
• Medication management experience REQUIRED
• Computerized documentation REQUIRED
• Reliable transportation REQUIRED

• First-time travelers accepted
• Pending license may be accepted
