Grill Cook

Norfolk Yacht & Country Club is seeking a reliable and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. This position is responsible for preparing grilled items while maintaining high standards of food quality, consistency, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

· Prepare and cook grilled items according to recipes and standards

· Set up and maintain the grill station during service

· Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines

· Assist with prep work and special events as needed

· Work collaboratively with the kitchen team in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

· Previous grill or line cook experience preferred

· Knowledge of proper cooking temperatures and food handling

· Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

· Dependable, team-oriented, and detail-focused

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Tolerance for heat, steam, and kitchen environment conditions
