Tibbetts Lumber Co. LLC, a growing Lumber and Building materials company, is seeking a Full-Time Accounting Specialist for our Corporate office in Clearwater FL.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist Accounts Payable Team with various tasks such as processing emails, coding invoices, posting vendor payments, and reviewing vendor statements.
- Reconcile daily Cash Receipt Journals for the assigned yards.
- Research and clean up AP and APPO accounts. Work with AP team, yards and vendor on discrepancies.
- Responsible for monthly reconciliation of various accounts such as (but not limited to) prepaids, AR Other, and Rebates.
- Record bank transactions (i.e. Non-AR Cash Receipts, bank fees, NSF, LOC transfers).
- Assist assigned yards with various issues that may arise.
- Sales tax reconciliation and filing.
- Responsible for various month-end duties, such as store and yard use, accrue tax on purchases, inventory adjustments, and transfers.
- Provide superior customer service to internal and external customers at all times.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience Required:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting is a plus; Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree required
- Accounting experience is helpful
