Description
Ensures that all cutlery is clean and ready for use by guests and staff: ensures that all kitchen equipment is clean and ready for use.
Essential Functions
- Constantly. Empty and wash garbage cans.
- Constantly. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen.
- Constantly. Maintain proper storage of dish dollies, glass racks and flatware.
- Constantly. Maintain work areas clean and organized.
- Constantly. Report all unsafe conditions immediately.
- Constantly. Store plates on hot and cold lines for cooks.
- Constantly. Wash, organize and inventory china, glassware, silverware, utensils, pots and pans per standards.
- Frequently. Assist in dish set up for banquets.
- Frequently. Clean and monitor dish machine as needed.
- Frequently. Help in setting up lunch buffet and happy hour buffet.
- Frequently. Sweep and mop walk in refrigerators, kitchen areas.
- Frequently. Understand and provide chemicals and supplies for station.
- Occasionally. Attend all mandatory meetings.
- Constantly. Complete any tasks your supervisor/manager instructs you to complete

- STANDING/WALKING: Constantly. Concrete, tile, rubber mats covering tile, linoleum, carpet, stairs, etc.
- CROUCHING (BEND AT KNEES): Frequently. Lift heavy objects, put supplies away, reach lower shelves in walk-ins, cleaning.
- KNEELING/CRAWLING: Rarely. Retrieve items from hard to reach places.
- STOOPING (BEND AT WAIST): Frequently. Lifting, cooking techniques, putting away supplies, reaching under counter refrigerator.
- TWISTING (KNEES/WAIST/NECK): Constantly. Cooking food, place or retrieve supplies, product, twisting of knees, performing line position duties.
- BALANCING: Frequently. Carrying supplies, product, working near hot equipment.
- LEG/FOOT USE: Rarely.
- REACHING (OVERHEAD/EXTENSION): Constantly. Working the line extending orders to guests, reaching for objects, supplies.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
FullPart-time position. Flex schedules and Holidays as needed
Shift Times: AM – 7am – 3p, PM 4:00pm – 12:00am

Requirements
Required Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
- Able to handle high heat and moisture.
- Read, write and speak English
- Previous experience preferred but not necessary.
- Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
- No employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others
Work Authorization/Security Clearance (if applicable)
Must be authorized to work in the United States of America.
