Description

The Princess Anne Country Club is looking for a seasonal Summer Camp Counselor:

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of each child by responding to their emotional, social, and physical needs
  • Engage with children in activities and play
  • Assist children with activities of daily life (e.g., restroom use, changing, hand washing)
  • Appropriately supervise children while keeping them safe at all times
  • Approach parents daily and speak with them about their child(ren), establishing a professional level of rapport with each family in order to provide quality care and friendly service
  • Maintain an environment that is clean, organized, and safe for all children
  • Vacuum, wipe down and take out trash at the end of each day of camp

Availability

  • Be available from 8:30am - 1:30pm below dates
  • June 15-19, June 22-26, June 29 - July 3, July 13-17, July 20-24, and August 1-5

Salary: $375.00 per week
 

Expectations for the Summer Camp Counselor are as follows:

  • Be ready for shift 15 minutes before babysitting officially opens
  • Have dependable transportation
  • Be customer service orientated and professional
  • Possess a strong work ethic, be punctual, and have minimal absences
  • Be able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, and carry children of various weight
  • Be a positive role model for all caregiving staff and children
  • Maintain a professional self-image and project the values of the organization at all times
  • Experience working with kids ages 3 and up
  • Applicant must be at least 18 years old
