Description

We are seeking a highly motivated M&A professional to join our Corporate Development (M&A) team with a focus on deal execution and target pipeline management. This role drives the full M&A lifecycle from target sourcing, outreach, and pipeline tracking to financial analysis and transaction execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with an interest in corporate finance and strategic growth through acquisitions.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Proactively build and maintain the M&A deal pipeline through industry and market research, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and attending industry events. 
  •  Support senior team members in qualifying and communicating with acquisition opportunities.
  •  Prepare monthly pipeline reports, dashboards, and summary analyses for leadership review. 
  •  Contribute to the continued development of strategic growth opportunities through research to identify technology, market, and demand trends.
  •  Support due diligence efforts by reviewing confidential information memoranda (CIMs) and company data and preparing diligence questions and financial analysis for management. 
  •  Assisting with synergy analysis and building financial models used in valuation analysis and transaction structuring.
  •  Coordinate with internal stakeholders (DwyerOmega business leaders, private equity sponsor) and external advisors (bankers, legal counsel, financial advisors, etc.)
  •  Help prepare target summaries and acquisition investment committee materials.  
  •  Ensure timely and accurate data management and reporting throughout the M&A process.
  •  Assist in internal post-close integration coordination and reporting.


Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  •  Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.  
  •  1-3 years experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or M&A advisory.
  •  Strong financial modeling, valuation, and corporate finance principles.  
  •  High proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint while ChatGPT is a plus.  
  •  Advanced research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  •  Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.  
  •  Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  •  Remote work with the occasional in-person meeting.  
  •  Occasional extended hours may be necessary during critical deal phases.
