Position Overview

Combustion & Control Solutions (CCS) is seeking a highly driven, self-motivated Territory Sales Manager to grow our presence throughout North Georgia. This full-time, Chattanooga-based role focuses on developing new business, expanding CCS’s market share, and strengthening customer relationships across industries such as commercial, food & beverage, chemical, institutional, and industrial manufacturing.


CCS delivers 24/7/365 boiler service, parts, and turnkey steam and thermal solutions—including boilers, feedwater systems, economizers, deaerators, thermal fluid heaters, and related equipment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Grow CCS market share within the North Georgia territory.
  • Build, manage, and strengthen customer relationships to expand business with existing accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with a proactive, initiative-driven approach.
  • Serve as a technical resource for CCS’s full portfolio of products and services, including boilers, thermal fluid heaters, feedwater systems, economizers, deaerators, and water treatment solutions.
  • Conduct jobsite visits with mechanical technicians to support proper scoping of labor, materials, and equipment for proposals.
  • Collaborate with the Proposal Manager to ensure accurate, timely quotes that meet margin objectives.
  • Provide light project management support for sold projects when needed.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding equipment issues and technical questions.
  • Travel 50–75% within the territory to support sales, installations, and customer needs.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline activity and perform weekly reporting to CCS leadership.
  • Utilize CCS’s CRM system for tracking leads, opportunities, activities, and customer interactions (CRM use required).
Requirements
  •  Bachelor’s degree preferred; engineering or technical discipline ideal.
  • Minimum 3 years of outside technical sales experience; experience with boilers, thermal fluid heaters, or mechanical systems strongly preferred.
  • CRM experience preferred; ability to maintain organized, accurate CRM documentation required.
  • Familiarity with applicable design codes such as UL, NFPA, and ASME.
  • Proven ability to develop and sustain long-term customer relationships.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • High initiative, strong self-motivation, and a track record of independently driving sales results.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based tools.
  • Ability to collaborate across internal departments and with customers to develop tailored boiler-room and thermal solutions.
  • Skilled at preparing and delivering engaging technical presentations.
  • Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance (auto stipend and fuel card provided).
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.
