About the Role
The Marketing Operations Manager plays a critical role in driving marketing effectiveness and efficiency across the funnel. This person will oversee the marketing technology stack, campaign operations, data management, and performance analytics to ensure alignment between marketing, sales, and GTM strategy.
You’ll partner closely with Demand Generation, Digital, Product Marketing, and Sales Operations to optimize lead management, enhance reporting visibility, and ensure data-driven decision-making throughout the customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing Systems & Automation: Manage and optimize the marketing automation platform (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) and ensure seamless integration with Salesforce and other GTM systems.
- Campaign Operations: Oversee campaign setup, execution, and reporting to ensure timely delivery, accurate tracking, and performance optimization.
- Lead Management: Own the lead lifecycle, including lead scoring, routing, and funnel hygiene in partnership with Sales and RevOps.
- Analytics & Insights: Build and maintain dashboards and reports that measure marketing effectiveness, ROI, and funnel conversion metrics.
- Data Governance: Ensure data quality, compliance, and enrichment across marketing and GTM systems.
- Process Optimization: Partner with GTM Operations to identify opportunities for workflow automation, process improvement, and cross-functional alignment.
- Tech Stack Strategy: Evaluate and implement new marketing technologies that enhance productivity, targeting, and attribution accuracy.
- Team & Vendor Management: Manage relationships with technology vendors, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and contractors to execute projects on time and within scope.
Qualifications
Required:
- 7–10 years of experience in Marketing Operations or related GTM Operations roles within SaaS or B2B technology companies.
- Strong hands-on experience with Marketo (or similar automation tools) and Salesforce CRM.
- Proven success improving funnel performance and driving operational efficiencies across marketing and sales teams.
- Deep understanding of lead management, data operations, campaign measurement, and attribution models.
- Proficient in data visualization and analytics (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar).
- Excellent project management skills; able to lead cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
Preferred (not required):
- Experience working in DevOps, SaaS, or high-growth B2B technology environments.
- Familiarity with sales/marketing alignment frameworks (e.g., MQL/SQL lifecycle, funnel modeling).
- Comfort working in a matrixed, remote-first organization.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Pay Range: $90,000 – $110,000 annually In accordance with applicable law, this represents a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location and may be more or less than the amount shown above. Outside of base compensation, CloudBees also offer stock options and variable bonuses.
