Primary Duties: Driving Strategic Partnership and Growth

As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you will focus on high-value acquisitions, specifically targeting mid-to-large financial institutions. The Mid-Market Account Executive will:

  • Own the Full Sales Cycle: Drive, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities, managing the relationship from initial outreach to final contract negotiation.
  • Act as a Trusted Advisor: Engage with banking executives, using storytelling and active listening to uncover their deepest operational pain points and recommend tailored solutions that simplify complex processes.
  • Drive Strategic Growth: Identify and penetrate new market opportunities by evaluating a prospect's position in the industry and positioning our innovative ecosystem as a "guiding light" solution.
  • Conduct High-Impact Presentations: Deliver expert product demonstrations and case usage presentations that clearly convey our unique value proposition and proven ROI.
  • Ensure Seamless Transitions: Collaborate with the implementation team to ensure customers move smoothly from the sales phase to solution deployment, maintaining trust and partnership throughout the process.
  • Maintain Rigorous Standards: Utilize CRM tools effectively to track progress and prepare detailed reports for leadership by collecting and analyzing sales data.
  • Remain an Industry Expert: Stay ahead of FinTech market trends and competitors to recommend product improvements and maintain a high level of professional and technical knowledge.
Requirements

 

We are looking for a highly disciplined and strategic relationship builder who operates with transparency and commitment. The ideal candidate meets the following:

  • Experience: 10+ years of successful sales experience, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep experience in FinTech sales, specifically selling complex software solutions to banks and financial institutions.
  • Mentality: A disciplined, persistent, and strategic approach to cultivating and closing opportunities in target accounts.
  • Communication: Outstanding oral and written communication skills with the ability to follow a disciplined sales process.
  • Soft Skills: Mastery of active listening and storytelling; someone who is genuine and can build high-level trust with skeptical stakeholders through consultative partnership.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level management of CRM tools and the ability to implement sales best practices and methodologies.
  • Professionalism: A commitment to maintaining quality service by enforcing organizational standards and participating in professional societies. 


Compensation: On-Target Earnings (OTE) of $125,000 – $175,000 per year, depending on experience and performance.

The actual pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, and geographical location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
