JOB SUMMARY

We are searching for a strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist for our corporate, R&D, chemical manufacturing and trading businesses. The Talent Acquisition Specialist is a highly skilled individual who will serve as a key driver of our hiring success, playing a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and securing top-tier talent across a wide spectrum of critical roles.

Requirements
  • Execute the full recruitment lifecycle for a broad spectrum of roles, from hourly technical staff to executive leadership.
  • Develop and implement targeted sourcing strategies to attract both active and passive candidates using advanced tools and techniques.
  • Conduct strategic intake sessions with hiring managers to define role requirements, success metrics, and interview frameworks.
  • Coordinate and conduct initial screenings to assess candidate fit for open positions, manage candidate communications and ensure seamless candidate experience.
  • Build and maintain robust talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill roles.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to hire managers, providing market insights, compensation benchmarks, and strategic guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
  • Champion process improvements and contribute to the evolution of our talent acquisition strategy.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, source of hire, candidate conversion rates).
  • Partner with HR to support retention strategies.
  • Maintain and optimize the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment tools.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build trust and collaborate effectively with hiring managers, HR partners, and leadership.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; able to juggle multiple open requisitions, prioritize tasks with precision and meet deadlines.
  • Strategic thinking demonstrating the ability to align recruitment strategies with organizational goals and workforce planning needs.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity in handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and sourcing tools (Specifically, Paylocity and LinkedIn Recruiter) to identify and attract top talent.
  • Skilled in conducting interviews, assessing candidate competencies and making sound hiring recommendations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, ideally in the chemical manufacturing, chemical trading or chemical R&D environments.
  • Demonstrated success with recruiting across a wide range of disciplines and seniority levels, including technical and executive roles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field preferred.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • HR certifications (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or equivalent) are a strong advantage.
