Description

Overall responsibility: Works with the Director of Summer Camp and office staff to facilitate the operation of the programs for children entering first through eighth grade for Summer Camp. Help to implement all procedures, regulation and criteria for the Summer Camp program as set forth by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

3. Experience in administration

4. Adaptable to changing situations.

5. Good interpersonal skills, able to work well with children and adults.

6. Ability to handle busy environment and manage different tasks as assigned.

Requirements

Responsibilities

1. Greet and welcome parents at the activity center entrance

2. Manage front desk: Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.

3. Manage attendance sheets for all campers for each session.

4. Compile and manage CIT (Counselor In Training) hours for the sessions that they attend.

5. Partner with and assist office administrator with posting media on stlukesallday.org or Instagram.

6. Count, manage, and assist bus counting on field trip days.

7. On field trip days will be assigned to a group to assist in monitoring of campers.

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous administrative or office experience is preferred but not required
  • Must have working experience with children, required, no exceptions
  • Professional or nonprofessional experience is acceptable
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
