Integration Engineer (IT)
Description

The Integration Engineer owns the design, implementation, and operation of integration solutions that connect enterprise business applications. The role ensures reliable, scalable, and secure data and process flow across ERP, CRM, CPQ, and analytics platforms while reducing manual effort and long-term technical debt. Only applicants residing within 50 miles of Macedonia will be considered for this role. We are not working with third party recruiters at this time. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain integrations between enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, CPQ, and analytics platforms.
  • Own Azure-based integration infrastructure using Azure Logic Apps, Azure API Management, and Azure Data Factory, among other tools.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, event-driven integrations, and data pipelines.
  • Establish and promote standard integration patterns, monitoring practices, and documentation.
  • Improve reliability, scalability, and observability of integrations using Azure Application Insights and logging.
  • Partner with Application Engineers and Analytics Engineers to define clean system boundaries and ownership.
  • Support offshore/onshore collaboration through reusable components and clear technical documentation.
  • Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for integration-related issues.



Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in application integration, software engineering, or data engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps, API Management and Service Bus.
  • Experience using Azure Data Factory for orchestration and data movement.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or C# for custom integration logic.
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs, authentication, and integration security patterns.
  • Experience designing and supporting fault-tolerant, scalable integration solutions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
  • Ability to translate business needs into effective technology solutions. 
  • Ability to operate independently with limited day-to-day supervision in a distributed team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience working in commercial, distribution, and/or light manufacturing environments.
  • Prior experience developing integrations to connect Epicor, Salesforce, TactonCPQ, or similar enterprise platforms.
  • Working experience with Azure Databricks in support of data transformation or integration workflows.
