At JTM, the VDC (Virtual Design and Construction) Team plays a critical role in the preconstruction, construction, and post-occupancy process. There are many stakeholders involved in the successful execution of construction projects, and the VDC Coordinator is a conduit between the various teams. This position analyzes, organizes, and disseminates relevant information to the teams in a timely and efficient manner to develop solutions for complex problems. The VDC Coordinator should be fluent in various software applications, read and understand architectural and engineering drawings, and create accurate architectural and engineering models and drawings. The successful candidate should communicate clearly and effectively, have a high level of attention to detail, be organized, and work well under pressure.
The VDC Coordinator must be able to work closely with others in a team environment. The individual must be an experienced professional and self-motivated with strong oral and written communication skills, dependable, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and multi-task in a data-rich and fast-paced environment. This position requires travel in the greater Seattle area, depending on the project needs. This position reports to the VDC and Innovation Manager and is a full-time, exempt role located in JTM’s offices in the Georgetown neighborhood of Seattle.
The full salary range for this position is $80,000 - $100,000, depending on direct professional experience and qualifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as primary point of contact for VDC/BIM related issues
- Work on teams developing & coordinating Building Information Models
- Maintain JTM models (establish coordinates, grids, levels & coordinate with Survey)
- Implement JTM VDC Standard processes
- Maintain Revizto Projects (Search sets, clash tests, appearance profilers, etc.)
- Maintain VDC Coordination schedule & conduct weekly coordination meetings
- Develop self-perform work packages & all coordination docs, super plots, RCPs, penetration plans, etc.
- Work with project team to resolve issues in an efficient manor
- Possess a clear understanding of the design phases, and the construction process
- Model 3D content for commercial jobs & Scan to BIM projects
- Execute tasks and responsibilities effectively with minimal direction and oversight
- Technical resource for all project team members
- Provide Quality Control and Quality Analysis assessment on models
- Create and analyze 2D/3D/4D/5D models as required
- Travel to project locations as needed
- Perform on site QA/QC per JTM QC Standard processes
SKILLS
- Experience with parametric modeling and analysis tools (i.e., Revit, Revizto, Navisworks, Autocad)
- Other applications; Microsoft Office 365, Teams, Bluebeam
- Ability to read architectural and engineering documents
- Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture or 4+ years minimum of experience
- General Knowledge of all Scopes of Work associated with Ground up Commercial Construction
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills
- Leadership skills with a willingness to lead by example
- Valid Washington State Driver’s license with the ability to provide proof of a clean driving record
- Able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and a criminal background check
