ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for assisting Event Manager during the planning and execution of Banquet Events
Ensuring that all filing systems are maintained according to SOP
Establishing rapport with Banquet clients and functions as liaison
Responsible for completing and distributing Banquet Event Orders, Diagrams and Group Resumes as needed
Responsible for Special projects as assigned by Director of Sales and Event Manager
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in a hotel is preferred.
- Highly developed customer service skills.
- Effective business writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with clients to determine and anticipate needs of the event.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with unexpected situations.
Education and/or Experience:· Previous hotel, catering and/or Delphi experience preferred· High school degree required · Hilton operating system and Delphi experience preferred· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Hours: Due to the business demands of the hospitality industry, and the fact that the hotel provides guest services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, work schedules will vary according to business needs, including some weekends, night shifts and/or holidays.
