The Grants Management Analyst provides professional grants management support for Federal financial assistance programs. This role supports the administration of grants and cooperative agreements awarded to direct recipients and ensures activities are executed in accordance with applicable Federal laws, regulations, and policy guidance. The analyst serves as a trusted technical resource, supporting program operations across all phases of the grant lifecycle.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Support grants and cooperative agreement activities from pre-award planning through closeout
- Review funding applications, award documentation, and post-award materials for regulatory compliance
- Perform cost and price analyses to support funding decisions
- Interpret Federal financial assistance regulations and provide guidance to program staff and leadership
- Assist with policy implementation, updates, and procedural improvements related to grants management
- Identify and resolve complex grants administration issues in coordination with stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using Federal grants systems and collaboration platforms
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum four (4) years of experience supporting grants administration and/or acquisition-related activities
- Strong understanding of grants management concepts and funding workflows
- Demonstrated experience supporting all phases of the grant lifecycle
- Working knowledge of applicable grants compliance requirements, including Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements
- Ability to analyze funding-related issues and provide practical, compliant solutions
- Proficiency with common productivity tools such as email, document management platforms, and shared drives
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting large or complex funding programs
- Familiarity with enterprise grants management systems (e.g., PRISM, GrantSolutions, or similar platforms)
- Experience supporting construction, transportation, or infrastructure-related grant programs
- Experience using cloud-based collaboration tools such as Google Workspace
