How GoMacro’s history shapes who we are today?

During her 2003 battle with cancer, co-founder Amelia Kirchoff created the first MacroBar® recipe in her kitchen on the Wisconsin family farm. Position Description:

Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager, the Facility Custodian plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organized facility. This position is responsible for the routine cleaning, sanitation, and upkeep of assigned interior and exterior areas to ensure a healthy, professional, and welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and operations. The Facility Custodian uses approved cleaning methods, equipment, and supplies, follows established safety and sanitation standards, and supports overall facility operations by responding to daily cleaning needs, special requests, and coverage requirements as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Gather and empty trash receptacles
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Ability to learn how to operate a floor scrubber - will train
• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, etc)
• Cleans breakrooms
• Assists in cleaning production area
• Reports all injuries and accidents as required
• Accepts other duties as assigned

Provision to Cover: Other Facility Custodians

Skills Required:

• Janitorial experience is preferred but not required; we provide on the job training
• Successful candidates will be reliable, have strong attention to detail, be flexible on occasion, and are able to work independently

Physical Requirements:

• Able to meet physical requirements, such as: 
• Lifting up to 40 lbs
• Bending/twisting
• Climbing stairs
• Standing for duration of shift
• Push/pull frequently up to 40 lbs

No travel is required with this position.
