Business Development Representative

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Business Development Representative role is a structured, high-intensity development program designed to prepare potential talent to become a field Business Development Officer (“BDO”). Business Development Representatives learn the full lifecycle of Dynasty’s business development process, from early-stage outreach through Term Sheet development, all while becoming fluent in the economic, operational, and industry foundations required to succeed as a full expectation field BDO.


Upon successful completion of the program, BDRs are expected to step into a Field BDO role.


RESPONSIBILITIES & OBJECTIVES:

  • Develop Core Financial and Economic Expertise: Acquire an in-depth understanding of the structure, objectives, and operational mechanics of Dynasty P&Ls. Accurately gather and analyze key inputs and outputs to effectively present a P&L and articulate Dynasty’s value proposition. Demonstrate awareness of how deal terms and structures influence firm-level economic outcomes.
  • Master and maintain the Dynasty Sales Process: Master the sales pipeline stages to understand how and why opportunities progress or stagnate. Demonstrate the ability to advance opportunities with accuracy and urgency while keeping all records properly maintained in CRM.
  • Build Industry Knowledge: Develop a strong understanding of the RIA ecosystem, independence movement, custodial landscape, and market forces. Learn to speak confidently with sophisticated advisors, RIA leadership members, and industry giants.
  • Lead Generation and Prospecting: Proactively identify and source new business opportunities by leveraging industry knowledge, market research, and networking. Utilize a variety of channels; COI channels, recruiting, cold calling, industry events, existing industry relationships, and professional social and digital media platforms to generate leads. Develop and implement innovative strategies to attract and engage potential clients.
  • Be a Dynasty Ambassador: Act as the voice of Dynasty in the local region by attending conferences, networking groups, industry events, and actively engaging on social platforms. Be prepared to effectively serve as a spokesperson for the Company on industry-related topics.
  • Professional Conduct: At all times act with a high degree of professionalism and integrity. Maintain books and records, adhere to internal policies and procedures, deliver high quality work product, and respect, support and foster collaborative relationships with colleagues.
Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in business development, marketing, sales enablement, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a team-based setting.
  • Strong communication skills.
