We are currently hiring a Skilled Semi-Trailer Technician/Mechanic for immediate placement in our main shop.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Evaluate and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Perform welding and fabrication repairs.
  • Inspect parts for excessive wear or damage.
  • Repair or replace heavy-duty components
  • Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hoists, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Test the equipment following repair or assembly to ensure proper operation
  • Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and related equipment

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED – Required
  • 2–5 years of heavy-duty equipment repair experience – Preferred
  • State Certifications – Preferred
  • Trailer body, welding, and fabrication experience – Preferred
  • Must provide your own hand tools
  • Strong time management skills
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude
  • Must pass a lift test
  • Must pass a drug screen, physical, and audiogram test
