POSITION SUMMARY:
The DwyerOmega Business System (DOBS) Leader is a key driver of operational excellence and culture across DwyerOmega. This role is responsible for leading enterprise-level deployment, sustainment, and evolution of DOBS, ensuring strong alignment between strategy and execution across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth (SQDCG).
This role operates with a high degree of autonomy and influence while maintaining a strong hands-on presence within manufacturing and transactional environments. The DOBSL partners closely with site leadership, functional leaders, to embed DOBS as the way the business runs – not as a set of tools but as an operating discipline. This role requires 50 – 75% travel

Business System Deployment & Enterprise Alignment
- Lead enterprise and multi-site deployment of the DwyerOmega Business System across manufacturing and transactional processes.
- Ensure site-level execution aligns with strategy and annual operating plans.
- Assist site leadership with the execution of their strategic priorities, operating rhythms, and measurable results.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and EHS leaders to drive cross-functional alignment and participation in DOBS activities
Operating Cadence & Performance Management
- Establish and sustain Lean Daily Management systems across sites, including tiered meetings, visual management, and escalation routines.
- Lead disciplined problem-solving when targets are missed, including root cause analysis, countermeasures, and recovery planning.
- Support the development and execution of an event and cost savings funnel in support of the business systems objectives.
Continuous Improvement Leadership
- Identify, prioritize, and lead enterprise improvement initiatives using value stream thinking and SQDCG priorities.
- Facilitate and coach Kaizen events with strong emphasis on preparation, execution, and sustainment.
- Coach leaders and teams in advanced Lean tools and behaviors, including but not limited to: Standard work, Value Stream Mapping, KanBan, 5S, Visual Management, SMED, TPM, and Problem Solving.
- Develop bench strength of future DOBS and CI leaders across sites and functions.
Culture & Change Leadership
- Act as a visible role model for DwyerOmega values and operating discipline.
- Lead cultural transformation by fostering ownership, accountability, transparency, and continuous learning.
- Drive employee engagement and involvement in improvement efforts.
- Champion safety and environmental compliance in all activities
Qualifications and Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5–7 years of progressive experience in Lean, Continuous Improvement, or Business System leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success deploying Lean or business systems across multiple sites or at an enterprise level.
- Strong experience partnering with senior leaders and leading through influence.
- Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and sustain results.
- Experience in a growth-oriented or multi-site environment strongly preferred.
