POSITION SUMMARY


As a People & Culture Business Partner (PCBP) for the United States workforce, you will be a key driver in shaping a people-first culture that supports our rapid growth and passion for travel. You will empower employees and leaders by building strong relationships, delivering exceptional people practices, and driving strategic workforce initiatives that help our teams thrive. 


This role combines hands-on HR support with forward-thinking strategy to ensure we enable everyone to align with our mission of delivering unforgettable travel experiences. The PCBP will be highly organized, proactive, and versatile professional who ensures seamless people experiences.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 


Employee Relations & Performance Management

  • Coach leaders on performance management, goal setting, feedback, accountability, and talent development, including guiding managers through complex performance and conduct situations with empathy and sound judgment.
  • Lead end to end employee relations matters, including investigations, corrective action, performance improvement plans, and terminations, escalating as needed.
  • Ensure fair, consistent, and compliant application of people policies and practices.
  • Support the rollout, adoption, and ongoing effectiveness of TTC’s performance management framework and HRIS system.

Employee Experience & Engagement

  • Act as a culture champion, partnering with leaders to foster inclusive, engaging, and supportive team environments where employees feel valued, connected, and aligned to our travel-focused mission.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Partner with leaders to drive adoption of new people processes, and ways of working.
  • Support engagement initiatives, surveys, feedback mechanisms, and action planning.
  • Partner with leaders to mitigate retention risks and address underlying drivers to support team stability.

People Operations 

  • Ensure people decisions align with multi-state employment regulations, internal policy and best practices.
  • Lead Reasonable Accommodation requests, policy application, and provide manager guidance.
  • Collaborate with the P&C Director and cross-functional partners (including Talent Acquisition and P&C Advisory) to drive innovation and continuous improvement in people processes, leveraging technology to elevate the end-to-end employee journey.
  • Support the global P&C Team with ad hoc strategic projects.
  • Act with autonomy, make decisions, and act in line with company policies and procedures.

Office Management

  • Assist with organizing company events and meetings that reinforce culture and connection.
  • Collaborate with other departments to support operational needs.

YOUR EXPERIENCE AND EXPERTISE

  • At least 5+ years of progressive People & Culture/HR experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of U.S. multi-state employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience partnering with leaders on performance management and employee relations. 
  • Demonstrates strong judgment and decisiveness, with the ability to assess complex, sensitive, people situations, evaluate risk, and make confident, well-reasoned recommendations.
  • Operates with high initiative, autonomy, and accountability, proactively anticipating needs and driving progress in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • High emotional intelligence with exceptional coaching, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Curious and energized by change, thriving in environments of transformation and continuous evolution. 
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage under pressure.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and navigate resources with internal executives and teams.
  • Microsoft Office Suite systems experience.
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP/PHR) highly preferred.

TRAVEL & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Work Location:  Hybrid work position which includes two (2) days a week in the Costa Mesa office.
  • Local travel to other TTC offices quarterly or as driven by the business.

Salary Description
$110,000 - $120,000
