Description

We are a small, ABA-owned company dedicated to providing high-quality, ethical ABA services to clients of all ages. Our services are delivered across home, school, and community settings, and we pride ourselves on maintaining a highly collaborative and supportive team that truly values both our clients and our staff. We are currently seeking a BCBA to join our growing team in the Virginia Beach area, with services extending into Norfolk and Chesapeake. The BCBA will provide clinical supervision and oversight for cases primarily in home and school settings, with some community-based sessions. This role involves working alongside trained RBTs and collaborating closely with families, schools, and interdisciplinary team members.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time


Pay: $60.00-$80.00 per hour

Requirements

Education, Training, and Experience:

  • Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) as verified through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Previous experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with various special needs.

Skills and Abilities to:

  • Exhibit professional behavior by attending all therapy sessions and meetings on time according to schedule
  • Understand behavioral situations and react accordingly in an ethical manner
  • Perform general clerical duties including maintain accurate client records and preparing clear and concise reports
  • Communicate effectively with a diverse group of clients, parents/caregivers, BCBAs, other ABBA employees, school personnel, etc.

Job Duties:

  • Manage implementation and oversight of client programming
  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments
  • Provide quality and ethical training and supervision to RBT’s and BCaBA’s
  • Provide direct behavioral services to clients in a variety of environments (e.g., client’s home, school, community, etc.)
  • Provide parent training and support
  • Conduct behavioral and skills assessments and design treatment programs
  • Maintain client data, graphs, and daily progress notes

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Successful completion of fingerprinting and criminal history L2 background check
  • Provide I9 and W9 updated forms
  • Maintain CEU’s and BCBA certification
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs
  • Basic Life Support CPR/AED training
  • Adhere to ethics
