  JOB SUMMARY:


The Lead IFS Application Developer is responsible for planning, designing, developing, testing, and implementing solutions within IFS Cloud / IFS Applications, Gaia Herbs’ primary ERP platform. This role provides technical leadership for IFS development efforts, ensures adherence to IFS Build Place processes for releases and release updates, and supports stable, scalable, and secure business-critical systems.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


· Lead design, development, testing, and implementation of solutions within IFS Cloud / IFS Applications

· Execute and govern IFS Build Place processes, including application builds, releases, patches, and release updates

· Provide technical expertise and recommendations for IFS-related projects, enhancements, and integrations

· Develop and maintain IFS business logic, custom objects, extension layers, and integrations (REST/OData)

· Troubleshoot complex IFS application issues and implement sustainable solutions

· Produce and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and version control artifacts

· Take part in the production support rotation as part of the Information Systems team.

· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship 


Requirements

  

QUALIFICATIONS


Education and/or Experience:


· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience

· 3+ years of hands-on IFS Applications or IFS Cloud development experience

· 3+ years of Oracle PL/SQL development within an ERP environment

· Experience with the end-to-end IFS Lifecycle (Build Studio) including customizations uplifts and CRIM for releases and service updates

· Experience with Azure DevOps and GIT

· Experience with REST-based APIs and system integrations

· ERP experience outside of IFS is acceptable only when accompanied by direct IFS experience


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


· Advanced knowledge of IFS Cloud / IFS Applications architecture and data model

· Strong understanding of IFS Developer Studio and Build Place Studio

· Advanced Oracle PL/SQL skills for implementing and supporting IFS business logic

· Intermediate to Advanced skill in designing and supporting REST/OData integrations 

· Familiarity with IFS Report Designer

· Strong reasoning and problem-solving ability to diagnose complex ERP issues and design maintainable solutions

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and cross-functional collaboration

· Ability to independently plan, prioritize, and manage multiple IFS initiatives under general supervision

WORK ENVIRONMENT:


This position primarily operates in an office environment. Occasional exposure to manufacturing or operational environments may occur, with potential exposure to noise, moving equipment, or industrial conditions.


  

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: 


· This position has no direct supervisory responsibility

· Provides technical leadership and guidance to developers, analysts, and vendors under general direction

· Influences technical decisions related to IFS development standards, architecture, and release practices
