What You’ll Do


Lead the Tool Crib Operation

  • Receive, store, issue, and track tools and project equipment.
  • Maintain organized, calibrated, and reliable tool inventory.

Support Machining Excellence

  • Select, stage, and prepare tooling for shop and field machining jobs.
  • Read blueprints and job specs to anticipate tooling needs.

Be the Tooling Authority

  • Advise machinists and technicians on tool usage and specialty tooling applications.
  • Serve as the subject-matter expert for cutting tools, inserts, and machining components.

Lead and Mentor

  • Train team members on procedures, safety, and best practices.
  • Promote an efficient, organized, and safety-focused work environment.

Keep Operations Moving

  • Load/unload trucks and manage shipping/receiving tasks.
  • Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.

  

What You Bring

  • 3–5 years of tool crib, machining, or machine operator experience—this is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical drawings.
  • Knowledge of carbide drills, end mills, inserted cutters, boring tools, and other precision tooling.
  • Comfort using Microsoft Office and inventory systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
