Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Full Time & Part Time Position
These positions require an active State Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license. Applicants without a current PTA license will not be considered.
About the Role:
HTS is hiring four Licensed Physical Therapist Assistants to join our therapy teams in South Bend, IN. In this role, you'll provide high-quality therapy to residents across diverse care settings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Position Options:
Three positions are FULL-TIME at 30 – 40 hours per week. The fourth position is PART-TIME at approximately 20 hours per week.
Also hiring PRN to work on an occasional, as-needed basis.
Position 1: Full Time, Skilled Nursing Facility (30-40 hours per week)
Location: West Side of South Bend
- Facility highlights: in-house dialysis clinic, dedicated memory care unit, rehab to home for diverse diagnoses
- Large fully-equipped therapy gym with a training kitchen.
Position 2: Full-Time, Continuing Care Retirement Community (30-40 hours per week), TWO POSITIONS
Location: Centre Township of South Bend
- Facility highlights: short-term rehab, long-term care, outpatient, independent living and assisted living.
- Fully-equipped rehab gym with ADL training areas, varied caseload with multiple diagnoses

Position 3: Part Time, Senior Living Community (Approx. 20 hours per week)
Location: On the riverfront of St. Joseph River in South Bend
- Small, well-established senior living community offers rehab, skilled nursing, long term care, and assisted living.
- Spacious, fully-equipped therapy gym.
- Flexible part-time schedule: 3-day or 5-day workweek.

Applicants must have an active Indiana Physical Therapist Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include graduation from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education-accredited physical therapist assistant education program, subsequent passing of a state-administered national exam, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure.
