Job Overview: This position offers supervisory responsibilities and requires a proactive and organized professional who can effectively manage multiple aspects of our fitness center. The Fitness Concierge will oversee day to day fitness upkeep while also performing duties as a Smoothie Bar Operator.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome Members as they arrive.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and marketing materials.
- Provide basic and accurate information about equipment and classes.
- Help Members book training sessions, classes, and orientation appointments.
- Keep inventory of towel stock and miscellaneous small equipment.
- Keep general cleanliness and organization of the facility by following predetermined cleaning procedures.
- Complete fitness related laundry and restocking of towels/waters.
- Monitor Fitness locker rooms for supplies and replenish as needed.
- Facilitate sales of F&B products in the Greens & Grounds smoothie bar.
- Provide excellent customer service to all members and guests.
- Taking orders from members, knowing the POS system and successfully making smoothie/ coffee orders.
- Keeping both facilities clean, presentable, and stocked at all times.
- Knowing the menu and how to make every menu item that is offered.
- Creating a fun and inviting experience for the members.
- Keeping a list of low stock and ordering more when needed.
- Knowing where ingredients are located in the clubhouse.
Qualifications:
- Outgoing personality with excellent communication skills.
- General knowledge of fitness equipment, workouts, and training programs.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer service experience with a positive and approachable demeanor.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably within a fitness or hospitality setting.
- Ability to lift light to moderate weights and perform light cleaning tasks as required.
Compensation:
This is a seasonal position offered at $20 per hour with a typical work week of Monday-Friday from 6:30am-1:30pm.
Flexible scheduling may be needed based on business needs.
- Sick pay up to 48 hours a year - accrued based on hours worked
