Key Responsibilities
As a Financial Analyst at V2A, you will:
- Serve as the firm’s financial planning and performance management partner, supporting leadership with forward-looking financial insights
- Own the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and growth plans
- Monitor and optimize utilization, margins, and profitability across teams and client engagements
- Evaluate the financial impact of growth initiatives, including new services, pricing strategies, and capacity expansion
- Translate financial data into clear, decision-ready insights, dashboards, and executive-level presentations
- Support leadership in setting, tracking, and managing growth expectations, including capacity, revenue, and individual performance implications
- Bring structure and rigor to financial planning, while maintaining flexibility in a growing consulting firm environment
Requirements
We’re looking for a Financial Analyst who brings both technical depth and business judgment:
- Strong FP&A and managerial accounting background, ideally within professional services, consulting, or project-based environments
- Big 4 or comparable advisory experience preferred, with the ability to operate independently in a less rigid, entrepreneurial setting
- Advanced analytical and financial modeling skills, with proficiency in Power BI and modern data analysis tools to drive insight—not just reporting
- Ability to translate complex financial information into clear, decision-oriented narratives for senior leadership and non-financial stakeholders
- High level of ownership, maturity, and judgment, with comfort navigating ambiguity, managing expectations, and supporting growth dynamics
- Collaborative mindset and strong communication skills
Why This Role Matters - This role offers a unique opportunity to:
- Influence strategic decision-making at the leadership level
- Help shape the financial foundation of a growing consulting firm
- Apply structured financial thinking in a flexible, high-impact environment
- Work closely with leaders who value insight, clarity, and thoughtful growth
