Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse for a high-volume Cath Lab assignment in Anchorage, Alaska.

This role supports diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma hospital with strong interdisciplinary support.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a high-acuity Cath Lab role requiring strong interventional experience, comfort with advanced cardiac devices, and the ability to function in a fast-paced procedural environment.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 4x10-hour shifts
• Hours: 07:00 – 17:00
• On-call: 1 weekday per week + every 4th or 5th weekend
• Occasional Saturdays required
• Floating required to EP or IR Lab within department

COMPENSATION
• Gross: $3,379 per week
• W2: $20.00 per hour
• Tax-Free Stipend: $2,499 per week

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Assist with PCI, stent placement, and sheath removal
• Perform procedural sedation and hemodynamic monitoring
• Assist with advanced cardiac device cases
• Maintain sterile technique and patient safety standards

SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT
• Impella
• Balloon pump
• Rotablator
• Shockwave
• CSI
• Laser systems

WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Magnet-designated acute care hospital
• Level II Trauma Center
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Strong interdisciplinary support (IV team, RT, pharmacy, radiology)
• Epic EMR
• Free parking and provided scrubs

• Active Alaska RN license REQUIRED (in hand for auto-offer)
• Minimum 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience REQUIRED
• BLS and ACLS REQUIRED
• Experience with interventional and diagnostic cardiac procedures REQUIRED
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and procedural sedation REQUIRED
• Willingness to take call, including weekends REQUIRED
• Ability to float to EP or IR Lab REQUIRED

Preferred:
• Experience with advanced cardiac devices (Impella, balloon pump, etc.)
• Experience in high-volume Cath Lab settings

Important Notes:
• Locals NOT accepted (50-mile rule enforced)
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Hepatitis B vaccination REQUIRED
