Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Kodiak, Alaska.

This is a unique hybrid imaging role in a critical access hospital, offering exposure to MRI, CT, and X-ray in both emergency and outpatient settings.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This role is ideal for technologists who are confident working independently and comfortable supporting multiple imaging modalities in a rural, fast-paced clinical environment.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• 13-week contract
• Day shift | 4x10s (07:00–17:30)
• Weekend call required
• Minimal on-call responsibilities
• No block scheduling
• Guaranteed 70 hours per 2 weeks

COMPENSATION
• Gross: $2,767 per week
• W2: $22 per hour
• Tax-Free Stipend: $1,799 per week

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Perform MRI imaging procedures
• Support CT and X-ray imaging as needed
• Assist with contrast administration and venipuncture
• Provide imaging support for ER and outpatient cases
• Maintain imaging quality and patient safety standards
• Work independently in a multi-modality environment

• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification REQUIRED
• BLS certification REQUIRED
• Minimum 1 year MRI experience REQUIRED
• CT and/or X-ray experience STRONGLY PREFERRED
• Experience with contrast administration and venipuncture REQUIRED
• Ability to work independently in a rural setting REQUIRED

Important Notes:
• No local candidates (must meet 50-mile rule)
• Must be willing to take weekend call
• Must be comfortable in hybrid imaging role (MRI + CT/X-ray support)
