Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Kodiak, Alaska.

This role primarily supports outpatient physical therapy services within a critical access hospital, with additional exposure to acute care and skilled nursing environments.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This is a well-rounded rural assignment offering diverse clinical exposure across multiple care settings, ideal for therapists who enjoy autonomy and variety in their practice.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 5x8-hour shifts
• Hours: 08:30 – 17:00
• Weekend coverage required
• No on-call requirement

COMPENSATION
• Gross: $2,549 per week
• W2: $18.75 per hour
• Tax-Free Stipend: $1,799 per week

ADDITIONAL PERKS

CLINICAL ENVIRONMENT
• Critical access hospital setting
• Outpatient-focused caseload
• Exposure to acute care and SNF settings
• Daily patient volume: 6–8 patients
• Multidisciplinary therapy environment including:
  – Outpatient rehab
  – Inpatient care
  – Skilled nursing
  – Wound care
  – Lymphedema
  – Pelvic floor
  – Pediatric cases

CHARTING SYSTEM
• Epic EMR

• Active Alaska Physical Therapist license REQUIRED (in hand at submission)
• BLS certification REQUIRED
• Minimum 1 year Physical Therapy experience REQUIRED
• Outpatient Physical Therapy experience REQUIRED
• Ability to float within scope to acute care and SNF settings REQUIRED
• Ability to treat adult and geriatric populations REQUIRED
• Epic experience REQUIRED

Preferred:
• Pediatric experience
• Experience working in rural or critical access settings

Important Notes:
• No locals accepted
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• Hepatitis B vaccination REQUIRED
• No pets allowed in facility housing
