Optimal Physical Therapy Solutions in Amarillo, TX, is seeking a full time Physical Therapist. Optimal Physical Therapy opened in 2011 and is an outpatient private practice, owned and operated by physical therapists, serving the Amarillo and Texas Panhandle area. Orthopedic outpatient therapy experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with both patients and physicians. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to accurately document information for billing purposes. Must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy curriculum and possess a current CPR Card. State physical therapy licensure required
Responsibilities:
- Daily patient physical therapy treatment.
- Review of treatment protocols with prescribing physician.
- Participate in treatment plan review and ongoing patient care reassessments.
- Accurate documentation to ensure timely and correct billing.
- Ensure compliance when billing Medicare.
- Leadership ability to direct and assist other clinical staff as necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with patients and physicians.
- Provides necessary educational services and participates in facility in-service activities.
- Assumes any other responsibilities that may be assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy curriculum and possess a current CPR Card. State Physical Therapy licensure required. General physical therapy, sports and industrial medicine experience preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with both patients and physicians. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to accurately document information for billing purposes.
Computer experience in windows, spreadsheets, and word processing preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Requires high-level visual and auditory acuity for participating in and monitoring patient care activities. Ability to move frequently throughout the Facility; ability to walk or stand at least 5 hours a day; occasional overhead and low reaching, demonstrates ability to lift and/or carry over 40 pounds on a regular basis; ability to push/pull over 50 pounds on a regular basis; and ability to sit for long periods.
