Key Responsibilities:


Data Visualization & Reporting

· Develop compelling and intuitive Power BI dashboards and reports.

· Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective visual insights.

· Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reporting outputs.

· Build dashboards using other BI tools such as Looker or Omni, as needed.


T-SQL & Data Engineering

· Write efficient T-SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data.

· Optimize data models and DAX calculations for peak performance.

· Collaborate with data engineers and developers to maintain scalable data pipelines.


Microsoft Fabric Familiarity

· While Microsoft Fabric is emerging, familiarity with similar systems is valuable.

· Independently learn and adapt to Fabric’s features and integration capabilities.

· Share insights and best practices with the team as Fabric adoption grows.


Data Modeling & Star Schema Design

· Implement star schema principles for reliable, high-performance BI environments.

· Structure fact tables, dimension tables, and relationships with scalability in mind.

· Continuously monitor and optimize query performance.


Advanced Power BI Features

Go beyond Power BI Desktop and utilize the broader ecosystem:

· Power BI Service: Cloud collaboration and workspace management

· Paginated Reports: Create print-ready formatted outputs

· Real-Time Datasets: Support live dashboards

· Power BI Embedded: Integrate BI into custom applications

· Power Query (M Language): Perform advanced data transformations

· Custom Visuals: Extend reporting capabilities when needed


Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

· Work closely with cross-functional teams including data engineers, developers, and business analysts.

· Provide training and help uplift the team’s BI maturity—especially on newer platforms like Microsoft Fabric.

· Communicate data insights effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements

  

  • Strong reporting skills 
  • Proficiency in SQL 
  • Experience in building dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Looker, Omni, or similar 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders 
  • Availability to cover ET/PT hours, with flexibility offered
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Preferably with relevant experience
  • Strong T-SQL skills and data modeling experience.
  • Familiarity with BPO metrics and call center operations.
  • Adaptability to learn new technologies.
  • Excellent communication for effective collaboration.
