About the Role
As a Pharmacy Intern at TelyRx, you will gain hands-on experience supporting licensed
pharmacists in all aspects of prescription processing, medication preparation, and patient care.
This role offers the opportunity to develop practical skills in a fast-paced, high-volume
environment while learning the operational, regulatory, and safety standards that guide pharmacy
practice. You will interact with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy staff, contributing
directly to safe and efficient medication delivery. This position provides meaningful, real-world

pharmacy.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an accredited Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program
- Active pharmacy intern license in the applicable state
- Basic knowledge of prescription processing, pharmaceutical calculations, and medication safety principles
- Familiarity with mail order and retail pharmacy workflows, including prescription intake, data entry, and fulfillment
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately review prescriptions and patient information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with patients, pharmacists, prescribers, and support staff
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, production-focused environment while maintaining quality and compliance standards
- Proficiency with pharmacy management software, computer systems, and basic office applications
- Understanding of HIPAA, patient confidentiality, and regulatory requirements related to pharmacy operations
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet turnaround times
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
- Physical ability to sit or stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks associated with prescription fulfillment
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in accurately preparing, dispensing, and labeling prescription medications
- Enter and verify prescription and patient information in pharmacy systems
- Support prescription fulfillment workflow to ensure timely delivery and patient safety
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide assistance under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Maintain organized and compliant workspaces, including managing inventory and supplies
- Observe and adhere to HIPAA, safety protocols, and all regulatory requirements
- Assist in quality assurance processes and operational procedures
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support the pharmacy team
Job Requirements
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited PharmD program and hold a pharmacy intern license in the applicable state
- Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time-management abilities
