This Director not only performs in relation to recognized standards, but he/she functions as a primary public relations representative for the department and staff in building rapport with our incredible medical staff, patients, and families under his/her care or supervision. 

The candidate must have a strong quality background and sound fiscal experience.   A broad knowledge of legal aspects with nursing along with regulatory requirements is a must.  This position has full access to patient health information.

• Dynamic Leadership Skills
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina.
• BSN required and MSN preferred.
• BLS from American Red Cross or Amercan Heart Association required.
• Management experience in a community or critical access hospital is preferred.
• Related clinical experience is required for area of responsibility.
• Problem solving and leadership abilities.
• Great interpersonal skills and engagement techniques.
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending, stooping, standing and sitting for extended periods of time.  
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
