SUMMARY:

The Manager, AR Operations Transformation leads the modernization and optimization of DASCO’s Accounts Receivable operations. This role is responsible for improving AR performance through process redesign, automation, data-driven insights, and operational discipline. The Manager partners closely with Revenue Cycle, Operations, IT, and Compliance to reduce friction, accelerate cash, improve accuracy, and scale AR processes to support DASCO’s continued growth.


This role is both strategic and hands-on, requiring the ability to assess current-state workflows, identify inefficiencies, implement sustainable improvements, and drive adoption across teams.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

AR Process Transformation & Optimization

  • Evaluate current AR workflows end to end, identifying gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies
  • Design and implement improved AR processes that increase cash velocity, reduce rework, and support scale
  • Standardize workflows, documentation, and SOPs across teams and locations
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on denials, underpayments, follow-up effectiveness, and accuracy

Automation & Systems Enablement

  • Partner with IT and Revenue Cycle leadership to identify opportunities for automation and system      enhancements
  • Support implementation and optimization of AR tools, reporting, and automation solutions
  • Reduce manual effort through smarter workflows, task prioritization, and data visibility
  • Ensure AR processes are aligned with system capabilities and future-state technology roadmaps

Operational Performance & Metrics

  • Establish and monitor AR performance metrics such as DSO, aging, cash collections, denial rates, and productivity
  • Use data and reporting to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
  • Provide clear, actionable insights to leadership on AR performance and transformation progress

Change Management & Adoption

  • Lead change management efforts to ensure new processes are adopted and sustained
  • Train, coach, and support AR teams through workflow changes and new tools
  • Partner with leaders to reinforce accountability and consistent execution
  • Serve as a trusted operational partner to AR leadership and frontline teams

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate closely with Operations, Intake, Billing, Compliance, and IT to align AR processes
  • Support acquisition integration and scaling efforts by ensuring AR workflows can flex and grow
  • Ensure AR processes align with regulatory, payor, and compliance requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5 or more years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Revenue Cycle, or healthcare financial operations
  • Demonstrated experience leading process improvement or operational transformation initiatives
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into action
  • Experience working      cross-functionally with Operations, IT, and Finance

Preferred

  • Healthcare or DME experience
  • Experience with automation, workflow optimization, or system implementations
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement training
  • Strong change management and   stakeholder communication skills
  • Power BI & Brightree Experience

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 150 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include both close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


TRAVEL:

Travel is approximately 10% for office meetings.
