Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment at an acute-care hospital in Eureka, California.

This role supports a busy cardiac catheterization lab providing diagnostic and interventional cardiac and vascular procedures for adult and geriatric patient populations.

POSITION OVERVIEW
This assignment is ideal for Cath Lab RNs with strong experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures who are comfortable working in a fast-paced procedural environment.

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS
• 13-week contract
• Day shift, 4x10 schedule
• 06:30–19:00
• On-call required
• Weekend coverage required
• Block scheduling may be considered
• Approximately 8–12 cases per day
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period

COMPENSATION
• Gross: $3,511 per week
• W2: $23 per hour
• Tax-Free Stipend: $2,499 per week

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in coronary and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Support stent placement, PCI, and catheterization procedures
• Assist with pacemaker-related procedures and vascular access
• Provide procedural sedation support
• Monitor patient status throughout procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Document care using Epic EMR

FACILITY HIGHLIGHTS

• Located near California coastline and national parks

• Active California Registered Nurse license required (must be in hand)
• Minimum 2 years Cath Lab RN experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures required
• Ability to take on-call shifts and weekend coverage required
• Ability to meet all facility compliance and credentialing deadlines

Important Notes:
• First-time travelers accepted
• RTO must be approved at time of submission
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period
• Must work 2 of 3 major holidays
• 50-mile radius rule applies (local rate may differ)
• Travelers may float to sister facilities if needed
• 2 supervisory references required covering 1 year within last 3 years
